Summer Vacation

I know, it appears as if I am on a permanent vacation from blogging.

I am not a writer.  I got a D in English in high school.  I can write some wonderful posts in my head but they never come out quite as nice when I sit down at the computer. Needless to say, this blog suffers from my inability to write and I am working on improving my  blogging frequency.  Just don’t hold your breath waiting. Please.  I would like you all to be around a while longer.

July was a busy month for us.  We took a 2 1/2 week trip to the Midwest and have now returned home just in time to get ready for school to start.  Our trip was wonderful.  We got to see all my family and spent hours playing, exploring and laughing.

Here are a few highlights from our trip.

How is your summer so far?  Can you believe it is August already?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who struggles to keep up with the demands of a blog.

Cute bonnets! Love it.

How come no stories of like 'crash' or Uncle Jesse? Surely there's a couple out there that we don't know about. Glad everybody made it around the track safely and are now ready to settle down. It took mom all of one hour to miss little girls, rooms filled with sewing projects and lots of singing. On the other hand I was glad I escaped with only minor paint damage and a bent tie rod. What a hoot. That one will be retold for 50 years.

I love Grace's gangsta look with her backwards bonnet. We loved having you. Thanks for making the trip to beautify my home. Mwah!

Grace, I just don't know what to say other than you are a good sport!
And I love you-- all.

Are we sure it wasn't KEL who crashed the go cart? Just sayin' . . .
